Fiat has chosen Geneva as the prestigious stage for hosting the presentation of its new 500 "120th" family, the most elegant, best-connected range ever. Available on 500, 500X and 500L, the new range celebrates Fiat's 120th birthday - a milestone that very few car manufacturers around the world have reached - and at the same time, it also writes a new chapter in the book on connectivity, a social and technological dimension already explored in 2018 with the 500 Mirror family.
The Fiat Tipo number 500,000 was produced at the Bursa plant, in Turkey, today. Specifically, the milestone car is a Tipo 5Door Sport equipped with the 120 HP 1.6 Multijet DCT engine and featuring the striking Passion red paintwork combined with contrasting Black roof and new Total Black interior. This landmark confirms the success of the model that is a key player in its segment in Italy and is in the top 10 in four European countries, as well as being the Fiat brand's second most global car, with over 70% of units sold outside Italy.

The new Fiat teaser celebrates the 2019 GRAMMY "Best Reggae Album" winners, Sting & Shaggy, for their chart-topping release, 44/876 (Cherrytree/A&M/Interscope Records) and will give a sneak-peak at the upcoming advertising campaign featuring these two iconic artists and their forthcoming single "Just One Lifetime". The Fiat 500 Serie F, acquired by the famous Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2017, was seen by the general public for the first time yesterday. The car will be on show in the "The Value of Good Design" exhibition that tells the story of industrial design through the works of the collection of the MoMA running until June 15, 2019. The Fiat 500 on display at the MoMA is a Series F model. This was the most famous series of all and was made from 1965 to 1972.

A constant symbol of Italian style and manufacturing worldwide, the timeless Fiat 500 continues to impress, by recording, in its eleventh year, its best-ever annual figures with almost 194,000 units registered in Europe in 2018 (total for Fiat 500 and Abarth 500). This is yet another record for the best-selling car in its segment, where it has also achieved its second best ever share of about 15%.
