FIAT brings a modern Italian Piazza to the Paris Motor Show
FIAT brings a modern Italian piazza to Pavilion 4 at the Paris Motor Show, at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles. Open, colourful and welcoming, the stand brings together the Brand’s latest models and concepts in a meeting place inspired by everyday Italian life. It reflects FIAT’s core values: accessibility, simplicity, ingenuity and optimism.
Global growth propels FIAT forward
Since 2021, FIAT has been Stellantis’ leading brand by volume, and in 2026 it has already surpassed one million units sold worldwide. In Europe, the Brand is up 20% compared with last year, with an increase of 19% in Italy and 33% in France since the beginning of the year. Its performance is particularly strong with private buyers, with FIAT climbing eight positions to enter the European Top 5. Its range spans micro and urban mobility, city cars, compact models and family vehicles, guided by the philosophy: “Simple. Compact. Ingenious. Never obvious.”
FIAT opens a new chapter in its history in Paris with a modern Italian piazza that brings the Brand, its products, and the public together.
Multiplina and MULTIPLAY: FIAT imagines the mobility of tomorrow
Piazza FIAT looks toward the future with the Multiplina and MULTIPLAY concept cars. Multiplina reimagines vehicle space around changing everyday needs, with the potential to create a new category in the European market. MULTIPLAY combines the space of an MPV, the character of an SUV and the versatility of a pick-up, exploring how one vehicle can fulfil different roles.
Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, FIAT’s return to the world of family cars
Making their European debuts in Paris, Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback mark FIAT’s return to larger family cars. Destined for over 100 countries across three global regions, Grizzly prioritises space and practicality, while Grizzly Fastback adds a more dynamic silhouette. Both measure under 4.5 metres and offer 3.5 m³ of overall interior space. Boot capacity is 545 litres for Grizzly and 608 litres for Grizzly Fastback, making the latter the most spacious in its category among vehicles under 4.5 metres. The range offers petrol, hybrid or electric powertrains, manual or automatic transmissions, and hatchback or Fastback body styles. Both models have a target starting price of around €20,000. European orders open on 5 January 2027, with all powertrain options available from day one, followed by the first international media drive in February. In Paris, both are displayed in La Prima trim with a 145-hp mild-hybrid powertrain.
Grande Panda, 500 Cabrio and 600 Sport: the many sides of the FIAT range
The Grande Panda is one of the pillars of the new global FIAT family, bringing the Panda spirit to the B segment. In Paris, it is presented in La Prima trim with a mild-hybrid powertrain and Yellow Bicolor livery. Alongside it, the 500 Cabrio La Prima in Rose Gold is produced at the historic Mirafiori plant in Turin. In July 2027, it will mark the 70th anniversary of the 1957 500 and the 20th anniversary of the generation launched in 2007. Completing the display is the 600 Sport 145-hp MHEV in Green Bicolor.
Topolino, an electric micro-mobility success story
Topolino connects Piazza FIAT with the show’s outdoor spaces. Europe’s current leader in the electric quadricycle market, it has received more than 40,000 orders since launch and leads in six markets: Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and France, where it took the top spot last July. In Paris, three versions showcase its personality: Topolino Sport, in a closed configuration with white livery and red stripes inspired by the 1958 New 500 Sport; Topolino Corallo, with glass doors and a glass roof; and the Topolino cabrio version Dolcevita Verde Vita, with canvas doors and a canvas cover.
FIAT MULTIPLAY makes its debut in Paris as a 3-in-1 vehicle
At 4.45 meters long, the concept combines the space efficiency of an MPV, the character of an SUV and the versatility of a pick-up. At the heart of the project is the C-Pillar ‘Metamorfosi’ architecture: a mobile rear module that enables the vehicle to switch from a 6+1 family configuration to a four-seat pick-up with an open bed. Multiplay is conceived as a laboratory of solutions for tomorrow’s mobility and is not a preview of a specific production model.
In the family configuration, Multiplay offers six seats plus the modular ‘Petsenger seat’, which can serve as a mounting point for a child car seat, a space for a pet, a small table or storage. In pick-up mode, four seats are combined with an open bed for bicycles, sports equipment and bulky items.
The rear spoiler rotates into an integrated bike rack carrying up to two bicycles in pick-up mode. The front passenger seat becomes the ‘Sunseat’, a lounge-style configuration for use when parked beneath the panoramic roof.
Multiplay builds on the space-efficient legacy of the 1956 FIAT 600 Multipla and the 1998 Multipla, both designed to accommodate six people within compact exterior dimensions.
Inspired by the Italian summer and the colours of watermelon, the bright green bodywork is paired with red and pink cabin tones. Monomaterial textiles made using a no-stitch 3D knit process reduce waste, while waterproof finishes in the kids and pets areas support everyday use.
A display integrated into the dashboard disappears from view when the vehicle is switched off. Together with its adaptable architecture and multifunctional components, it makes Multiplay a testing ground for future FIAT solutions.
