FIAT presents Multiplay:
challenging conventions to transform mobility, the FIAT way
After 127 years, FIAT remains young by continuing to challenge conventions and turn bold ideas into simple, intelligent mobility for everyone. At the Paris Motor Show, this spirit takes shape in Multiplay: not just a concept car, but a new concept of mobility — flexible, accessible and radically useful. Its innovation lies in reimagining space, freedom and shared everyday life, the FIAT way.
In the 1950s, the 600 Multipla carried six people in just 3.5 meters. In 1998, the first-generation Multipla challenged convention again, offering six seats on two rows in a body under 4 meters long.
Now, FIAT challenges convention once again with Multiplay, a concept that could create an entirely new category by responding to the way people live today, as the boundaries between family life, leisure, work and adventure become increasingly fluid.
It combines the open load space and outdoor versatility of a pick-up with the comfort and flexibility of an SUV. An ingenious mechanism enables the vehicle to switch from one configuration to the other in just a few movements.
For FIAT, the Multiplay Concept is also a source of inspiration for the future development of products that will complete its affordable family transportation range. In Paris, this vision confirms FIAT’s commitment to clever mobility for families, alongside Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, which make their official debut.
At the Paris Motor Show, FIAT brings the soul of the Italian "Piazza" to life—a joyful, welcoming space where people and stories connect as the brand unveils its vision for the future of mobility.
This setting will also mark a key milestone: the start of a new FIAT chapter. In Paris, the brand will bring together a complete and coherent product ecosystem that projects its vision for the future of everyday mobility.
The stand will showcase the breadth of this new chapter: from the icons that confirm FIAT’s leadership in the A segment and in micro and urban mobility, to Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, making their first public debut and opening a broader role for the brand in accessible family transportation. Together with two additional concepts, they will shape a clear journey through FIAT’s present and future — consistent in its values and ready to answer the evolving needs of people, families and communities.
A new FIAT story is ready to come to life in Paris, starting October 12.
