FCA WILL BE FICG'S TOP SPONSOR FOR ANOTHER FOUR YEARS

According to the agreement, announced prior to the Italy-Norway match, Fiat will be the Top Sponsor and Official Car for men's and women's national football team, and iconic young players. A fleet of Fiat cars will be available to the Azzurri, accompanying them to official, unofficial and training matches.

FCA and the Italian Federation of Football (FIGC) have renewed their sponsorship agreement for another four years: so Fiat will be the Top Sponsor and Official Car for the Azzurri, continuing their adventure on football pitches. The agreement involves supplying a fleet of Fiat cars to accompany the Italian team to their official, unofficial and training matches. In addition, the brand will appear on the Azzurri training uniforms and on publicity banners around the pitch. Further initiatives will involve the teams and the technical head coach Antonio Conte.

The occasion for the announcement is the qualification match for the 2016 European Championship, held in France. The Italy - Norway match will be played tonight in the wonderful Rome Olympic stadium. This will be the third continental match held in France that Fiat and the Azzurri will play together, after Austria and Switzerland (2008) and Poland and Ukraine (2012). The strong tie with the Italian football team goes back to 2000, when as Technical Partner, the brand started following the Azzurri when they played the world championship in Japan and Korea (2002), in South Africa (2010) and in Brazil (2014). Thanks to this agreement, even when the Azzurri go to the world championships in Russia in 2018, they will have the Fiat "license plate".

This association is based on the shared values that drive Fiat and FIGC to conquer ever more goals and successes in their respective sectors. FCA'a commitment underscores the strategy of tying their name to excellence and international fame, and football's national team is always a symbol of sports and human values, bringing millions of fans and showing a positive image of Italy to the world. The connection is thus the crowning touch to a route started more than a century ago and has always seen Fiat and Italy hand in hand in our country's social, industrial and cultural evolution.
