The side bags on the Doblò are designed to protect the head, chest and pelvis of the driver and front passenger in the event of an impact from the side. The passenger compartment features controlled crumple zones that absorb energy in the case of an impact and the doors are designed not to open accidentally during impact. It also features ESP to maintain vehicle stability, and bi-link suspension, as standard on all versions, so the Doblò reduces and dampens vibration on uneven road surfaces, guaranteeing the grip of all four wheels on the road surface.
